Leh: The Member of Parliament from Ladakh, on Thursday visited Lungnak and met with people of Bardan- Mune, Raru- Ichar, Surle-Kilbuk, Testa- Kuru, Hink- Kargyak, Yal- Marling, Cha-Anmu villages.
The tour started by foundation stone of PMGSY Road Padum to Stagrimo Gonpa at Padum.
Later in the tour, people from different villages has tabled numerous issues related to both public and personal matters regarding JJM, bridges, footpath, Archery ground, canal construction, link road, Medical Sub Centre, Ice Hockey rink, replacement of solar power plants in some villages, opening Gandola site at various locations, renovation of school infrastructures etc.
The tour was accompanied by Hon’ble Councillors Stanzin Lakpa, Stanzin Chosgyal, Lobzang Namgyal BDC Karsha, Sh. Stanzin Chotak BJP National Executive Member, Zanskar Parbari Shunu Wangdan and respective local leaders.
The Government officials headed by SDM Zanskar Sonam Dorjay, PMGSY Executive Engineer Sh. Manzoor Hussain along with departmental officials also presence with MP tour.
MP Ladakh assured to rederess numerous pending works at the earliest possible, and instructed to concern department to report and resolve all concerns issues sooner.
In the evening MP Ladakh distributed compensation payment for Zanskar region which comes under the NH301 with the presence of Col Shiv Kumar of NHIDCL.
