Kargil: Member of Parliament Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today flagged off a school bus for Jaffariya Academy of Modern Education, Kargil.
Former Chairman Legislative Council (J&K), Haji Anayat Ali, Chairman Hajj Committee, Ladakh, Mohd Ali Majaz, Accounts Officer to DC Kargil, Shamim Ahmad, President,
Jaffariya Academy of Modern Education Kargil and other concerned were present on the occasion.
At the event, MP Ladakh appreciated the school for providing quality education to the students in the district.
He said the bus service will provide a sigh of relief for students and parents and will prove a step for the promotion of education in Kargil district.
It was informed that the bus costs nearly Rs 2,050,000 of which a major portion of Rs 1,950,000 was provided from MPLADS and the remaining by
Jaffariya Academy of Modern Education Kargil.
