LEH: The union territory administration on Monday gave the interim charge of the Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, to Principal Secretary Dr Pawan Kotwal.
This was necessitated as Advisor Umang Narula, is going on two-week-leave from 23rd May 2023 to 5th June 2023.
“Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS, Principal Secretary shall look after the duties and responsibilities of the Advisor to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor in the absence of Advisor Umang Narula,” an official order issued in this regard said.
Additionally, the routine work of the departments assigned to Umang Narula has also been allocated to two Administrative Secretaries.
While Dr Pawan Kotwal will oversee the Home Department and the charge of Chief Vigilance Officer, the Finance Department will be overseen by Sanjeev Khirwar, Principal Secretary, said the order.
