BARAMULLA: Baramulla police have booked three people under Public Safety Act (PSA) for anti-national activities.
Those who have been booked under PSA have been identified as Tawseef Ahmad Parray @ Gasha of Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @ Gulla of Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @ Shad Ponz of Singhpora Pattan.
Acting tough against ANEs Baramulla Police booked two persons namely Tawseef Ahmad Parray @ Gasha S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @ Gulla S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @ Shad Ponz S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Singhpora Pattan under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority, Baramulla police said in a statement.
The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail Jammu. Pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against these persons who were involved in anti-national activities. Despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their anti-national activities.
