KARGIL: Only one way traffic would be allowed from Srinagar towards Kargil on Srinagar-Kargil-Leh highway on Tuesday, the authorities informed on Monday.
“Subject to fair weather, good road condition and green signal obtained from BEACON authority, only one way traffic from Srinagar towards Kargil would be allowed on Zojila Axis
Kargil-Zanskar (Penzila) Road,” an official advisory said.
Subject to fair weather and road clearance, One way traffic for all vehicles would be allowed from TCP Skygam towards Panikhar in between 6 am to 11 am from TCP Panikhar, thereafter no vehicles would be allowed towards Penzila axis from TCP Skygam, it said.
On Padum Darcha (Shinkula) Road, the advisory said, only one way traffic would be allowed from Darcha towards Kargeyk Zanskar as per the condition of Shinkula axis, and subject to road clearance.
