Jammu: In the run up of India’s G20 presidency, University of Jammu has been geared up to host the first Youth 20 Consultation Meet from April 18 to 20.
As per official’s sources, the university in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Youth Service and Sports will hold discussion under Youth 20 Consultation Meet on ‘Peace Building and Reconciliation, Ushering in an Era of No War from April 18 to 20.
Officials said that over a dozen international and national speakers were invited for the discussion on an era of no war.
Prominent international speakers included Saudi-based Director Founder & Editor of Milli Chronicles Media England Zahack Tanvir, New York based Author Sahana Singh, United Kingdom based Activist and Author Manu Khajuria Singh and United States of America based renowned author and commentator Sunanda Vashishth.
The national speakers included Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir Rayees Mohammad Bhat, noted historian Anand Ranganathan, prominent journalist -Aditya Raj Kaul, Daughter of Kargil War Hero- Aprajita Acharya, Eminent writer-Ashwin Sanghi (Keynote Speaker) and eminent Journalist Tushar Gupta.
Sources said that many celebrity guests will be part of this event, which is termed as the first big celebration of G20 in Jammu region. The first Youth 20 Consultation Meet will open new horizons of development and also provide an opportunity to invite international and national attention towards the era of prevailing peace and tranquility in the region.
