LEH: With an objective to provide job opportunities, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Friday advertised 205 posts for Union Territory of Ladakh.
As per the notification, the vacancies included 10 posts of Junior Assistant/Tabulator cum Operator, 15 posts of Junior Stenographer and 42 posts of Orderly/Chowkidar/Class-IV for various departments of administration of UT of Ladakh.
The vacancies for the Industries & Commerce department include 16 posts of Mineral Guard/Mining Helper/Helper, 25 posts of Senior Craft Instructor, 2 posts of Drill Operator-II, 8 posts of Drill Helper, 6 posts of Chowkidar, 4 posts of Store Khalasi, 1 post of Fitter, 2 posts of Driver Grade-II, 1 post of Instructor Clay Moulding, 22 posts of Assistant Handicraft Training Officer, 2 posts of Technical Assistant, one post each of Geologist Assistant Grade II, Technical Assistant, Laboratory Attendant, besides 16 posts of Instructor/Instructor Ladakh Crafts (Garments/wood Carving /Carpet / Silver Filgree/ Namda/Papu Shoe Making/ Embroidery/ Knitting/ Hosiery Making/ Dyeing Master Ladakh, etc).
Also included are six posts of Assistant Cameraman in Information and Public Relation department, 6 posts of Complier in Finance, 2 posts of Manual Assistant Grade-I in Legal Metrology and 2 posts of Naib Tehsildar in Revenue department.
There are three posts of Foreman, nine of Junior Engineer Mechanical, and one post of Sweeper in Public Health Engineering, I&FC while two posts are of Laboratory Technician in Forensic Science Laboratory.
The notification further informed that the submission of the online application will begin on Friday and the last date for submission of application is April 12.
The Computer bases Examination for the posts will be held in month of June-July 2023, it said.
