Leh: An executive body meeting of All Ladakh Hotel and Guest House Association (ALHAGHA) was held to discuss various issues and initiatives before the start of the coming tourist season of 2023:
The meeting was held to strengthen the ongoing non cooperation resolution against outside investment and discourage brands from outside Ladakh to operate hotels, guest houses and other commercial properties in the hospitality sector of Ladakh.
The executive members reiterated on disassociating with such entities with the help of the support of the members of Ladakh Travel Trade Alliance.
Issues related to registration of tourism entities and clarification of new guidelines for guest houses of Ladakh were discussed during the meeting.
The body members appraised the Challenges faced by properties while trying to adhere to the new compliances imposed by various departments.
