Kargil, March 13, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan today chaired a review meeting of physical and financial achievements of both ongoing and new schemes for the current Financial Year 2022-2023 of Silmo Constituency here at Council Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer R&B 2nd Division, Executive Engineer Irrigation and Flood Control, Executive Engineer PHE, Executive Engineer REW, District Soil Conservation Officer, Block Development Officer Sodh, Sarpanchs of Silmo, Lalung, Chulichan, Garkone villages were present during the meeting.
Department-wise detailed discussions and deliberations were held on the physical and financial achievements of all ongoing schemes in Silmo Constituency.
The concerned officers from the respective departments apprised the CEC about the progress achieved in various developmental works in the area.
While expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved in various developmental works in the area, the CEC directed the concerned officers to immediately complete the pending works as soon as possible.
Khan stressed avoiding duplicity of works and advised the concerned officers to utilize government funds in an optimum way to provide maximum benefits for the general public.
He also instructed the concerned officers to maintain high-quality of construction materials and also adherence to the set guidelines strictly.
The CEC also directed the concerned officer from PHE to immediately repair the existing water supply connection in the area.
Meanwhile, CEC also directed Sarpanchs to monitor the developmental works in the area personally in order to execute all the works on the ground properly.
