Kargil, March 5, 2023: In continuation to the celebration of Jan Aushadhi Diwas from March 1 to 7, Health Department today organized Jan Arogya Mela at the old District Hospital near main market Kargil.
At the event, free medical consultations were provided to people. Medicines from Jan Aushadhi were also made available to the public.
District Nodal Officer Ayushman Bharat, Dr Oliyath Ali stressed the gathering to regularly check their blood pressure and sugar to timely detect health issues and go for treatment.
He advised people to purchase the best quality medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendra where medicines are provided at cheaper prices compared to private pharmacies.
Dr Oliyat informed the public that 10 tablet strip of Pantoprazole that costs Rs 95 in the market but at Jan Aushadi Kendra it is available at Rs 12.50 with the same quality.
