Leh, Feb 24: A delegation from Hunder village, Nubra headed by Councillor Hunder, Kunzang Lotus called on the Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson today to discuss a few developmental issues of Hunder village.
CEC Tashi Gyalson assured the delegation to address their issues and demands at the earliest possible.
Members of Women’s Wing of Anjuman Imamia Leh, led by President, Nasreen Maryam, met with the Chairman/CEC Leh to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Hussain today.
CEC Gyalson extended his greetings on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussain to the Muslim community in particular and the people of Ladakh at large. He further urged everyone to spread the message of peace, harmony, and brotherhood.
Later, CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson launched the “Izhar-e-Khayal”, the 5th Book of Jigmet Norbu (Khayal Ladakhi), the first Buddhist Urdu Poet from Ladakh.
CEC Gyalson congratulated Khayal Ladakhi on the launch of his new book and appreciated his efforts. H’CEC also wished him best in his future endeavors. He further assured all possible assistance through various platforms from the Hill Council, Leh in the future.
Jigmet’s book has been also launched at the Ghalib Institute, Delhi and at the Aligarh Muslim University.
The CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called on by a delegation headed by the President, of Skara Sports and Welfare Association, Leh under the guidance of BDC Chairperson Leh, BJP MC President, and Mandal President, Leh.
The delegation apprised CEC Gyalson of a few developmental issues of Skara village including, the construction of a community hall, reconstruction of the govt. school, and the beautification of Skara Spang.
Taking note of their grievances, CEC Gyalson assured them to resolve the issues and address the demands raised at the earliest possible.
