Leh: After the transfer of 77 Higher Education Department Gazetted posts; the UT Government has ordered the transfer of 76 vacant non-Gazetted posts of constituent Colleges to University of Ladakh.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with Indus Dispatch, the 76 vacant Non-Gazetted posts were allocated to UT Ladakh by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir as a cadre of the Higher Education.
“The 76 vacant Non-Gazetted posts of the Constituent Colleges allocated to Union territory of Ladakh by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir as a cadre of the Higher Education (Non- Gazetted) Service for the Union Territory of Ladakh, is hereby transferred to the University of Ladakh for its six constituent Colleges,” read the order.
The order read further that the transferred posts are given in Annexure to this order and the location of the additional posts beyond the existing vacant posts in the constituent Colleges may be finalized by the University of Ladakh in its Syndicate.
“University of Ladakh shall formulate the Recruitment Rules for these posts and place before the University Council before the posts are advertised. Budgetary support for these posts shall be sought by University of Ladakh under Grant-in-Aid,” it read.
University of Ladakh, was created as a Cluster University under the University of Ladakh Act, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), by pooling the resources of existing Colleges of Ladakh.
