Kargil, Feb 23: To lift the stranded passengers of Zanskar from Leh and vice versa, the Army Helicopter MI-17 service started today and lifted 11 stranded passengers to Zanskar from Leh and 19 passengers from Zanskar in two sorties. The 30 stranded passengers included patients, students and the elderly.

On the arrival at their destinations, the passengers expressed gratitude to the Indian Army, UT Administration and District Administration for arranging the service.
