Leh: Former Nambardar Kobet Halqa Tsewang Ishey met Divisional Commissioner Saugat Biswas and discussed the various grievances of Kobet Halqa at office secretariat Monday.
He raised the problems being face by the people of border area of Kobet Halqa.
Among other issues, flowing problems being faced by the general public were discussed which include the Jal Jevan Mission execution of works in Kobet halqa has damaged the link roads and irrigation canals of every villages and before the sowing seasons starts from April the contractors have to remove the debris in the irrigation canals of respective villages and the debris from the links roads needs to be cleared for easy access of tractors and agriculture tools in the month of March and April.
Ishey requested Div Com to issue necessary direction to the concern department and contractors to resolve the issue.
Regarding, the KOBET- GONBO road which needs repairing and renovation; he requested Div Com to direct the concern PWD department to have a look into the matter.
The post of Panamik BDO lying vacant and Incharge BDO was given to Diskit BDO due to which many rural development schemes are still unreachable ultimately impacting the development of Panamik Block.
Ishey sought independent BDO for Panamik block at the earliest.
The border villages of Aranu Yokma, Gogma, Sasoma, Sanar Yarma Gonbo Manastery, Warshi villages are yet to have 4G network facility.
This serious issue needs to be looked and necessary direction may kindly issue to JIO/Airtel/BSNL on your behalf for the coverage under 4G Services.
