Leh: Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson on behalf of LAHDC Leh and the people of Leh, Ladakh expressed profound sorrow on the passing away of Al-Haj, Sheikh Ghulam Hadi hailing from Phyang village, Leh.
“Passing of Sheikh Ghulam Hadi is a huge loss to the entire people of Ladakh, especially for the Muslim community,” CEC Tashi Gyalson said.
He said that Late Sheikh Ghulam Hadi has made an immense scholarly contribution to the Ladakhi society in various capacities.
“My sincere condolences to the bereaved family members and prayers for the noble soul to rest in eternal peace.” the CEC added.
CEC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan expressed his solidarity with the family and general public on the sad demise of Hujatul Islam Sheikh Ghulam Hadi who hailed from Phyang but have left his impression all over Ladakh UT.
Having lived an exemplary life, he would be remembered for a long time, he added.
Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor has also condoled the passing of Al-Haj Sheikh Ghulam Hadi, Phyang.
The Ladakh Congress Committee and its leaders deeply mourn the sad demise of Al Haj Sheikh Ghulam Hadi.
Congress spokesperson in condolence message lauded the services Al Haj Sheikh Ghulam Hadi has rendered, and said that Sheikh sahib would always be remember as a religious scholar, a statesman and a noble soul.
