SAMBA, NOVEMBER 23: Motor Vehicle Department Samba today conducted checking on NH 44 and challaned/compounded 22 vehicles under various provisions of MV Act.
ARTO Samba, Rehana Tabassum, informed that 15 vehicles out of 22 were found without Speed Limiting Device and overloading of passengers.
“A fine of Rs 42000 was realized from violators on the spot” added the ARTO.
The ARTO informed that the Department would continue to conduct such drives to minimize traffic violations.
