Leh, November 19: The Administrative Secretary, Tourism and Culture/Labour & Employment and Commissioner, Excise/UTGST, UT Ladakh, Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan, reviewed the status of various works related to service matters, Physical and Financial Status of Works/Projects under State Sector and SDP at the Civil Secretariat, Leh.
In the meeting, the Administrative Secretary was apprised about the status of progress on the service matters and the ongoing works.
The Administrative Secretary directed all the departments to complete the pending works related to service matters at the earliest and submit the same latest by Tuesday (22.11.2022) for further appropriate action. Taking stock of the progress of work on ongoing projects of Tourism department, Library department, Labour department, Employment department and Culture department the Secretary directed the concerned officers to expedite the process of payment to the contractors of the satisfactorily completed/achieved physical works. The officers have been directed to ensure that the executing agencies take this process in an earnest manner.
The Secretary also impressed upon all the officers to ensure biometric attendance of employees and casual/daily workers. He also directed the officers to ensure fire safety in all offices.

Secy.; Assistant Director, Tourism Department, Leh/Kargil; Registering Officer, Antiquities Department, Leh; Junior Assist, Food Craft Institute/IHM, Leh, and District Librarian, Leh/Kargil.
