Leh, Nov 04: A delegation from Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) bed by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vishal Kapoor, called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur, in New Delhi.
CEO EESL Vishal informed about the carbon neutral initiatives taken by them. He shared a project proposal to promote carbon neutral initiatives in Ladakh, viz. installation of LED streetlights and lightings in government schools; providing geothermal-based heating for medical institutions using heat-pump solutions through a pilot project, providing decentralised lighting to government schools using the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS); developing infrastructure for charging electric vehicles, etc.
