Kargil Oct 05 :- Author and prominent senior citizen of Kargil, Kacho Asfandyar Khan’s long-awaited books titled “Parkala-e-Guftar and Api Tso” were released on Tuesday in presence of Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan at Council Secretariat.

The book was released by the CEC in the presence of Executive Councilor, Horticulture Aga Syed Mehdi Fazili, Councilor Abdul Rahim and Councilor Altaf Hussain.

Speaking on the occasion, the CEC lauded the efforts of the author for releasing his 8th and 9th book. He appreciated and congratulated the author and his family members for publishing the thought-provoking book with a different name and theme.

Khan further said that such books would be helpful for all research scholars, writers as well as all the student community.

“These books will prove fruitful for people belonging to different parts of Kargil to know the basics of our rich culture, traditions and religious way of life, pursuits from close quarters and generate discussion and devise strategies for further development of knowledge-content on Kargil and the outside world,” he said.

He highlighted the hard work and dedication of the author for collecting information from various parts of the world and putting them in the form of books on different topics.  Khan said the two books are witnessing the hard work and dedication of the author.

The author also shared his experiences about his long-awaited books which he said will prove fruitful for writers, students and research scholars.

The CEC congratulated the author for his dedication and enthusiasm for writing books in his old age. He said the author’s contribution will be remembered by the coming generation.
