Jammu Sep 28 :- BJP OBC Morcha organised social program for Specially Abled children and distributed Wheel Chairs Among them at BJP Office Kacchi Chawni, Jammu.
Sat Sharma ( Former Cabinet Minister ) , Yudhvir Sethi ( Vice President BJP) , Munish Khajuria ( District President BJP) , Braham Jyot Satti ( President BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir) were present in main in Program and it was organized by Sunil Prajapati ( General Secretary BJP OBC Morcha Jammu Kashmir) .
Manjeet Singh ( District Officer , Social Welfare Department ) was special invitee of the occasion .
In the program they distributed Wheel Chairs Among specially abled Anshu Kumar , Danish Salotra , Isha Kumari and interacted with them .They listened their grievances and Assured them that BJP will sort out all issues as early as possible .
After getting wheel chairs Children became emotional and thanked BJP OBC Morcha .
Speaking on the occasion Sat Sharma appreciated BJP OBC Morcha for organizing social tasks across Jammu Kashmir .
He said BJP Government is working hard for upliftment of all segments of society and the biggest gift Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave to persons with disabilities is the term ‘divyang’ to describe them. The word used earlier, ‘apang (literally translates to physically handicapped)’, carried with it a sense of neglect and insult .
He said People with disabilities in the developing world do not have adequate access to medical care. A wheelchair is a form of assistive technology which eases the burden for many.
He said Wheelchairs provide increased mobility and independence for the user and their carer, allowing them to take part in everyday activities, despite having reduced mobility. As well as helping you carry out daily tasks with ease, a wheelchair offers many social and mental health benefits.
He said BJP is only political party who works for all segments without any discrimination .
Yudhvir Sethi said a wheelchair is one of the means of assistance for use to improve personal mobility, a precondition for enjoying human rights and a dignified life, which also helps people with disabilities to become more productive members of their families. communities; for this reason, a wheelchair can constitute the first step towards inclusion and participation in our society .
He said In addition to providing mobility, an appropriate wheelchair benefits the physical health and quality of life of the users by helping in reducing common problems such as pressure sores, progression of deformities and improve respiration and digestion.
He said Government is running various schemes like Disha for ‘Divyangs’ . Disha is an early intervention and school readiness scheme for children upto 10 years with the disabilities covered under the National Trust Act.
He appreciated BJP OBC Morcha and said under the leadership of Braham Jyot Satti BJP OBC Morcha has achieved new heights .
Braham Jyot Satti appreciated whole BJP OBC team for Commendable work and said OBC Morcha JK-UT is committed to work for society with the spirit of service to humanity .
He said For a specially abled person, a wheelchair is not only a means for mobility, it is the world itself as it meeting the needs of the disabled, and creating long-term job opportunities for disabled citizens.
He said most persons with disabilities were unable to self-maneuver in their external environments at times because of inaccessible pathways, their functional limitations, and lack of strength to propel the wheelchair. They needed support to push their wheelchair, limiting its use to the times when someone was available.
He said our PM is our pride and our nation is blessed because PM Narendra Modi is down to earth personality who works more than 18 hours in a day for the upliftment of society , BJP OBC Morcha is working on his ideology and serving Jammu Kashmir .
He said BJP OBC Morcha is stands with every citizen of society and always available for needies and if anyone needs any kind of help can contact us we will provide appropriate help to him .
