Jammu Sep 19 :- The SIT has questioned all the management of Jammu University in connection with the death of Associate Professor Chandrashekhar. This includes cash committee, HOD of psychology and their staff, vice-chancellor, registrar, dean and staff of other departments of the university.

According to sources, the SIT team has talked to all the people of the university administration, management and staff about the professor. None of them said that Professor Chandrashekhar was of such character. Nor has there been any complaint of sexual harassment or molestation against him in the past. However, it is also being told that the girl students who had complained are still standing on the charge.

On the other hand, two students who had complained of sexual harassment against the professor were also questioned on Sunday. Now on Monday, the SIT will record the statements of the girl students who made the complaint. The wife of Professor Chandrashekhar has also not been questioned by the police at that stage. His official statement is yet to be recorded. If sources are to be believed, the statement of Dr. Neeta Chandra, wife of SIT Chandrashekhar, can also be recorded on Monday.

However, the way this matter was raised vigorously. According to him, the investigation of the case is now slowing down. In a way, this investigation seems to be going in cold storage. Dr. Neeta is in Jammu for three days, but her statement has not yet been officially recorded. Apart from this, since a week, the SIT has not even been able to fully record the statements of those girl students, whose names were in the complaint letter.(AGENCIES)
