Jammu Sep 02 :- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has said that the recruitment process for all vacant government posts in Jammu and Kashmir will be completed in eight months. Vacant posts are being marked as of today. Efforts will be made to release their advertisement soon. Some people want to return to the old era in which they can get jobs sitting at home by denying qualifications, but the era when jobs were given in shops.

The LG assured that the recruitment process would be completed with transparency and only merit would be the basis. He was speaking at the convention center on Thursday at the launch of the drug-free Jammu and Kashmir campaign. He said that the government is marking vacant posts in all departments.

By advertising them, efforts will be made to complete the process in eight months. He said that some vested interests conspired to tamper with the recruitment examination. He used the money for this work. Those who were behind this whole episode unnecessarily misled the youth.

He assured that no power in the world can create dishonesty in Jammu and Kashmir. You will get job on merit only. He said that the plans of those who want to get jobs without studying at home have been dashed.

He appealed that the youth not only have to raise their voice against drugs, but also stand up against such selfish elements.

Those who dare to be punished

All the recruitments done so far in Jammu and Kashmir were done in a transparent manner and on the basis of merit. There was no other basis for the appointment, but due to disturbances in the past, three examinations – SI, Finance Accounts Assistant and JE had to be canceled. After receiving the complaints, a high level committee was constituted and an inquiry was conducted, in which the evidence was found.

On this basis, CBI inquiry was ordered by canceling the recruitment examination. Violators will go behind bars. He said that those who dared to do this and ruined the future of the youth, misled them, they will be punished as per the law. Along with punishing the culprits, preparations are being made to conduct the examination in October.
