Jammu Sep 01 :- Dalit OBC Minority (DOM), a wing of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K condemns the shocking incident that took place in the early hours (12:45 am) of yesterday (31-08-2022) at the campus of Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Patti, Punjab.
Some unidentified miscreants vandalised the Pieta Statue which was just in front of the Catholic Church Patti Tarntaran, Punjab and set on fire the car which was in the campus.
Police personnels have been informed and the investigation is underway.
RK Kalsotra, Chairperson DOM and State President Confederation, along with S Kuladeep Singh Giani. Ashu Peter Mattoo, Amir-Ud-din Kasana,Ramesh Sarmal, Shafi Bajjad, Bikram Paul condemn this shameful act and demanded that the LG J&K, Sh Manoj Sinha should take the matter with the Punjab government, including their governor, to identify the miscreants immediately and take strict action under law, so that there policy to divide religious brotherhood should fail and Social fabric should be strengthened. Members of DOM also demanded security to church and religious gathering of Punjab, so that the Miniorities should feel save in the state of Punjab. Else strong voice shall raised from Jammu and Kashmir for Justice to Miniority.
Further it was requested to all the people to be united and maintain harmony as anti social elements want to destroy the peace and unity among Bahujan Samaj, as we are the peace maker followers of Baba Sahab Dr B R Ambedkar. Incidents like these are an attack on Bahujan unity and thus, Bahujan should stay united in such instances.
