Doda, August 10: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Assar on Wednesday organised a colourful and mesmerising programme on Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The Students presented scintillating cultural theme based programme to spread the message of importance of Tricolour and its glory.

A career Counseling programme was also held wherein AD Employment Doda, DIO Doda, an officer from Indian Army and others elaborated on the different career options for the youth.

The meritorious students of the Government Higher Secondary School Assar and its adjoining schools, who scored fairly well in 10th, 11th and 12th exams were also felicitated during the program.

The program was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti. The programme was attended by SDM Assar, Lekh Raj; DEPO Doda, Ayaz Mughal; DIO DIPR Doda, Mohammad Ashraf Wani; AD Employment Doda, other Sub Division level officers, PRIs, parents and Students.

The programme was supervised by Principal Government Higher Secondary School Assar Sudershan Kumar Chandail.

A colourful cultural programme was also presented by the students of the school to showcase the cultural ethos and bring patriotic feelings among the audience.

Addressing the students, the ADC applauded the efforts of the Principal, teachers and students for hosting such a grand event. He stressed upon the youth to develop the spirit of patriotism, dedication and participate in nation building. He urged the students to engage in positive and fruitful activities, excel in your field of interest and keep shining with colours of success.
