Srinagar, Aug 10 :- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday congratulated Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav and said this should not be a mere formation of a government but a genuine start to bring secular and democratic forces together.

Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar Chief Minister on Wednesday as Grand Alliance leader and Tejaswi Prasad Yadav also took oath as Cabinet Minister.

Mehbooba while congratulating both said this shouldn’t be a mere formation of a government but a genuine start to bring secular and democratic forces together.

“Regional parties have and will play a crucial role in fighting communal and divisive elements,” Mehbooba said in a tweet.

“Congratulations to Nitish Kumar ji & @yadavtejashwi. This shouldn’t be a mere formation of a government but a genuine start to bring secular & democratic forces together. Regional parties have & will always play a crucial role in fighting communal & divisive elements,” she added.
