Jammu Aug 09 :- Need and futuristic vision to observe the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava” on the clarion call of PM Modi was elaborated in a seminar organized by the BJP’s Department of Publication & Literature held at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Jammu & Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, Chief Spokesperson Adv. Sunil Sethi, Incharge department of Literature & Prabhari Poonch Pawan Sharma, Prof. Dipankar Sen addressed various informative and interactive sessions during the seminar.
Ashok Koul while speaking on the need and futuristic vision to observe the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava” said that with the passage of time especially under the influence of British rule and communist thinking later, we have forgotten over glorious history and culture. Speaking on the importance of Yoga, he stressed on the richness and glory of our education and wealth in the past. He said that Indian thought process believes in the unison of individual with society, city, Nation and the Universe and that Bharat believes in propagating the peace in the world.
Adv. Sunil Sethi stressed on the need to establish Bharat as the torchbearer to the world. He said that with the belief of “unity in diversity” and “Vasudev Kutumbhakam”, Bharat has accommodated every culture and every belief where every faith can co-exist in peace under one umbrella. Stressing on the “Bharatiya Darshan” of co-existence of every living being, Bharat has always given shelter to every refugee in the glorious history, he said.
Prof. Dipankar Sen expressed his views on the importance of “Atma Nirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India)” and said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has judiciously stressed this especially since the Covid Pandemic gripped the world. He said that mission was given impetus that is even more special during the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava” to make India as undisputed leader of the world. He also emphasized on the “Vocal for Local” campaign that must be adopted by the masses as a mission.
Pawan Sharma remembering the unsung heroes on “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava”,s aid that this is an attempt to recall and remember forgotten heroes of our freedom struggles, many of whom might be renowned but unknown to the new generation. The aim of recreating and bringing forth stories, which lay as faded memories of the past shall serve as medium of inspiration and encouragement for the coming generations, he stressed and shared many such stories on the occasion.
