Poonch Jul 29 :- The first batch of Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra will leave for Poonch district on Friday 29th July from Yatri Niwas located in Bhagwati Nagar. About two thousand pilgrims will leave in the first batch. At the Yatri Niwas, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar and VHP Union General Secretary Milind Parande duly inaugurated Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra after the Havan Yagya in the presence of VHP and Bajrang Dal officials and police and administration besides devotees.
On this occasion, the Divisional Commissioner said that the administration is fully cooperating with VHP and Bajrang Dal for the successful organization of Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra and will continue to do so. On the other hand, Milind Parande said that since 2005, Bajrang Dal has been successfully organizing Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra at the national level.
He said, in Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra, devotees get spiritual peace and energy. Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra has also played a big role to stop the exodus of Hindu society in Poonch and Rajori districts due to terrorism. This national level visit also boosts the morale of Hindu society.
He said, thousands of Shiva devotees from all over the country will reach Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra, which will run from 29 to 11 August. All other arrangements including accommodation and food and drink for the passengers have been completed.
On this occasion, VHP State President Leelakaran Sharma, North Zone Organization Minister Mukesh Khandekar, National Convenor of Bajrang Dal Neeraj Danoria, Baba Amarnath and Budha Amarnath Yatri Trust President Pawan Kumar Kohli, Vice President Karan Singh Chadak and General Secretary Sudarshan Khajuria were also present.(AGENCIES)
