Jammu Jul 29 :- The government gave its nod to name 18 schools in the state after martyrs and prominent personalities. Approval has been given to name Government Higher Secondary School, Anantnag in the name of Swanand Kaul Premi and Wanpora Government Middle School, Gurez after Shaheed Riyaz Ahmed Lone.
Under the order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary, General Administrative Department, Government Middle School Chandanbari in the name of Shaheed Rifleman Mohammad Safir Khan, Government Middle School dubbed Shaheed Para Trooper Shabir Ahmed Malik, Kupwara Boys Middle School Shaheed Rifleman Abdul Hameed Chara, Upper Middle School Kundalia is named after Shaheed Head Constable Abdul Rashid.
Apart from this, Government Middle School Bande Mohalla Handwara in the name of Martyr Selection Grade Constable Ghulam Mustafa, Upper Primary School Kashmiri Manigah in the name of Martyr Head Constable Sheraj Ahmed, Government Middle School Garhi in the name of Martyr Constable Rajinder Kumar, Martyr Constable Raj Kumar. But the Government Middle School, Jaganu has been kept.
Government Girls Middle School named after martyr constable Naseeb Singh, Muthalal Alanbas, government middle school Bagga after martyr constable SPO Jalal Din, middle school but Pura Dool after martyr constable Shamim Ahmed, middle school Saunder after martyr head constable Raghunath has gone.
Middle School Chateyari has been named after martyr Sepoy Jogendra Singh and Primary School Party has been named after Shaheed Havildar Sartul Singh. Government Middle School Khairi has been named after martyr Constable Rajkumar and Government Primary School dubbed Ditta after martyr Constable Jagdev Singh.(AGENCIES)
