Jammu Jul 27 :- JMC Councilor Sanjay Kumar Baru pressed for the early completion of allotted development works and repair of roads and lanes especially in Ward No. 41 in Talab Tillo Bohri area under Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
“Many of the lanes and drains in the Ward have suffered damage in the ongoing rainy season which is causing hardships to the locals as well as the commuters, we as the dedicated public representatives are working continuously to provide best services and infrastructure to masses”, said Sanjay Baru.
Sanjay Kumar Baru met JMC works Executive Engineer division -3 Ajay Gupta in the presence of Technical officer Er. Arun Kapai, AEE Jagiya Dutt Sharma and JE Shabab Raji Rizvi and discussed the Ward’s development works and repairing of lanes and roads which are damaged due to rainy season.
Sanjay Kumar Baru while meeting the ExEn said that the local people are badly suffering due to the water logging as the drains and the lanes have suffered heavy damage due to the incessant rains that have lashed for the consecutive days. He said that the JMC Councilors are working hard day and night to upgrade the ward infrastructure and cleanliness of their respective wards. However, he said that the utmost coordination and dedication is necessary on the part of everyone concerned with service to the masses.
Sanjay further said that not only the works limited to the development of the Ward are being given thrust but simultaneously various important projects under the Smart City Project are also underway like construction of pathway and other works for the betterment of the Ward and the City are being taken up on the priority.
Ajay Gupta patiently listened to the senior leader and assured the Councilor that as soon as the weather conditions get improved to permit the work, Macadamization and the repair work for all the roads and lanes in ward-41 will be taken up on priority. He also told that the department is committed for quality and time-bound completion of allotted works.
