Jammu, Jul 26: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) has extended full support to the ongoing unabated protest of aspirants of Finance Account Assistant (FAA). This was asserted by Uday Chib, President J&K Pradesh Youth Congress while addressing the aforesaid aspirants during his visit to the protest site.

While addressing the aspirants Uday Chib said that it is high time that the recruitment scam and those behind the backdoor entry system or the corrupt officials involved in the scam need to be exposed and identified to find out as to who are the elements playing with the youth who are toiling hard to get selected through proper channel and procedure.

The Youth Congress leader lamented that the FAA aspirants are being punished for no fault of theirs despite working hard and passing the concerned tests/exams at all levels. He demanded that the Govt should immediately order a CBI enquiry and book the real culprits behind the serious scam so that none dares to resort to such corrupt practices in future.

Uday Chib asserted that this scam is clearly an Administrative failure and not misdemeanor on the part of the students.  Therefore the Govt should leave no stone unturned in doing justice with the honest aspirants who have qualified every level of FFA by dint of their hard work and toil.

It is pertinent to mention here that the FAA aspirants demand that the scrapping of the entire select list is not feasible as it would affect the majority of genuine meritorious and honest selectees as the entire recruitment process for FAA has been completed now. Asserting that they are not against the probe but they demand that it should be time-bound. They feel that by scrapping the entire list the rights of the deserved candidates are being trampled.

They also demand that the LG administration take note of alleged mismanagement in the JKSSB as it has put the future of meritorious and deserving candidates at stake. Moreover they are demanding the immediate release of their final selection list.
