Srinagar Jul 26 :- Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday held Satyagrah in Srinagar in which prominent party Leaders, Former Legislators, DCC Presidents and prominent Party workers participated.

JKPCC criticized ED Summon to Sonia Gandhi and sought end to vendetta politics unleashed by the BJP against the opposition especially Congress Party aiming to divert attention of the people from its utter failures on all fronts.

J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir led the Satyagrah (a peaceful movement) against the anti- people and wrong policies on the part of BJP Govt at Centre, terming BJP a mother of crisis in the country especially rising unemployment, inflation, economic crisis and various other burning issues concerning people.

Ghulam Ahmad Mir said ED Summons to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is a tool to malign the image of the grand old National Party whilst there is no FIR against Gandhi’s in National Herlad Case, the reality is that Modi Govt’s diversionary tactics and misleading politics won’t deter Congress Party from fighting for the rights of people despite coercion and misuse of agencies against the party leadership.

Mir said Congress won’t be cowed down by pressure and vendetta politics, rather it will further strengthen its resolve to fight against the BJPs misleading policies, which is responsible for pushing people to darkness across the country.

We have fought and we will continue to fight for the rights of people and make BJP Govt accountable and answerable to people for the damages caused to country’s economy and other sectors of public importance, Mir added.

Speaking on the occasion Former JKPCC President Peerzada Mohd.Sayeed said that ruling dispensation at Centre is feeling insecure given the pro-people policies of Congress Party, which has equally served every section of the people living in the country with the result BJP is hellbent upon to divert the attention of the people from Congress Party achievements, which cannot be undone neither by the BJP nor by misusing agencies.

Among others who spoke on the occasion included JKPCC Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani (Former Legislators), PCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi, PCC Office bearers, DCC Presidents, AICC Members, Frontal Organizations, Block Presidents and various other prominent Party Leaders.
