Srinagar, July 21  :-  A government-run primary school, a seminary and a marriage hall were gutted in a devastating fire at Khanyar in Srinagar on Thursday, causing damage to property worth crores of rupees.

A fire and emergency services spokesman said the blaze broke out at 7.26 am in a house in the congested Lone Mohalla at Nowpora and engulfed nearby structures. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is being ascertained, an official said.
