Jammu Jul 19 :- RS Pathania, former MLA & J&K BJP Spokesperson accompanied by Arvind Gupta, Coordinator Grievance Committee & Secretary BJP listened to the public grievances at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Many deputations including individual persons visited the party office to discuss their issues with the senior BJP leaders. Deputations & common people discussed various issues related to the development of their respective areas and their other concerns.
The issues projected included provision of road connectivity to far-flung pockets of Parlidhar area of District Udhampur mainly Thanupur Rang road, Lakhod to Mota Dramman, forest clearance of their to Shree Chountla Mata road. A deputation of Tehsil Mahore of District Reasi sought electrification of village Isalma. The issues also pertained to passionate appointments in JKPCC and Silk Corporation of India working under Union Ministry of Textiles. A deputation of MGNREGA employees sought fixation of quota in regular selections, payment of unpaid salaries and adopting Himachal Pradesh pattern.
The demands further pivoted around provision of Health Care facilities and catering to the paucity of staff in various schools of district Udhampur. Not only Primary as well as middle, high/higher secondary schools have been left high and dry in the annual transfer drives initiated by the department of school education. Instead of provision of more staff, even the existing staff has been siphoned off to headquarters.
Listening to their issues patiently, RS Pathania telephonically talked to the concerned departmental officials and issued letters for the others.
Pathania said that the party has made a sincere effort to bridge the gap between administration and public through the conduct of these camps. He said that the general masses should feel free to contact the party leaders regarding their issues and the party leaders will do their best to provide solutions to their problems.
