Heavy rain expected in Jammu and Kashmir on July 20 and 21, warning to remain alert

Jammu Jul 18 :- Heavy to moderate rainfall is expected in the state on July 20 and 21. According to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, there is no possibility of any major change in the weather till July 19. However, from July 20, the weather will change and there will be rain at most places in the state.

Talking about Sunday morning, Jammu district received 1.1 mm and Bhaderwah received 3.4 mm of rain. Apart from this, the weather remained clear in other districts of the state. The temperature also increased due to clear weather. The maximum temperature of the day was recorded in Jammu district at 33.3 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature was 24.9 degree Celsius. Katra, the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, recorded a day’s maximum temperature of 30.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 23.7 degrees Celsius.

Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 29.0 degrees Celsius and Pahalgam recorded the day’s maximum temperature of 26.0 degrees Celsius.
