Srinagar, March 31: The Department of Local Fund Audit and Pensions accorded an affectionate adieu to its Director General, Azad Ahamd Wani, on his superannuation here today.
Wani has rendered service in different departments in various capacities including Director Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir, Director Finance, SKIMS Soura, Director Transport/Jal Shakti J&K, FA/CAO Srinagar Municipal Corporation, District Treasury Officer, Baramulla and Pulwama besides other crucial postings.
The officials appreciated his services saying that Wani throughout his carrier remained an inspiration for his subordinates and colleagues due to his generosity, kindness, integrity and motivation. They wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
