Ramnagar, March 30: A weekly Divas meeting was today held here at Town Hall Ramnagar. The meeting was chaired by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gopal Singh.
Sectoral officers of different departments and PRIs of concerned Panchayats also participated in the Block Divas.
Sarpanches, Panches and local people of adjoining Panchayats raised several issues and demands with regard to paucity of drinking water supply to ward number 11, release of pending payment of PMAY and other issues etc.
Responding to the demands, the SDM assured the PRIs and public that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner. He directed the officers to work in coordination for the equitable development of all Panchayats in the Tehsil. He said that the main objective of conducting Block Divas was to resolve public issues and the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes on the ground.
Meanwhile, the SDM handed over domicile certificates among the beneficiaries in presence of Tehsildar Ramnagar.
