Jammu, March 26: Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations today organized a cultural programme on the theme of Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav, here at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nowshera Rajouri.

Principal of the host school, Surjeet Kumar Sharma was the chief guest, while Vice Principal, Kulveer Singh was guest of honor.

The artists of Cultural Wing gave a mesmerizing presentation featuring patriotic songs and instrumental performances on the theme -Azadi kai Amrit Mahotsav.

The Principal lauded the efforts of the Department of Information and Public Relations for organising the event in the school and urged to organise more such programmes in future.

The artists Surjit Singh, Mohinder Kumar, Balbir Singh, Amit Kumar, Harpal Singh kept the audience spellbound.

Officials of the Department of Information and Public Relations besides teachers and students were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, another cultural program on the theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nowshera Rajouri.

Artists of culture wing presented a scintillating musical program featuring Patriotic songs, folk songs and instrumental performances which was highly appreciated by the audience as well as chief guests.

Principal, Anil Kumar was the Chief Guest, while Vice Principal Joginder Paul was guest of honour. Students of the School also sang patriotic songs on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
