Kulgam, March 26: The Department of Ayush, Kulgam under the aegis of Ayush Gram today organised a camp regarding Drug addiction cum de-addiction and awareness to highlight importance of Ayush medicines at Govt. Girls Middle School, Arreh.
On the occasion, District Nodal officer Ayush Kulgam, Dr Ab Rehman gave an awareness speech regarding Drug de-addiction and importance of Ayush medicines.
He also highlighted the risk factors and protective factors of drug abuse and addiction. He stressed the masses to use the immune boosting Ayush medicines which are freely available at Govt Ayush institutions and different PHCs to combat the Covid-19.
During the camp, free face masks and free Ayush medicines were distributed among the participants.
The District Nodal Officer Ayush further added that the department has also organised more than 350 camps from 4th of April 2020 till date in which free immunity boosting medicines were distributed.
The programme was also attended by Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School Arreh, senior citizens, general public, students from the institute and other local institutions.
