Leh, Mar 25: A Police public meeting was held at police post Khaltse headed by Incharge SHO Khaltse, Skarma Angchok, today at his office chamber.
Skarma Angchok briefed the participants about proper verification and entry of tenant/non-local labours and traffic management/parking at Khaltse market.
He added that incidents of cybercrime and narcotic drugs are increasing in society and sought cooperation from people in eradicating the drug menace from society. He urged the participants to be vigilant and inform police regarding unknown/suspicious persons or activities. People can call 112 and can be reached at 24×7 Emergency Response Support System (ERSS).
The meeting was attended by Sarpanch Khaltse, Nawang Rigzen; President Merchant Association Khaltse; President Sham Contractor Association; President LBA Khaltse and others.
