Jammu March 22 :- Taking a step forward with ongoing initiative to incorporate local population in the overall development of the region, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, GOC White Knight Corps held a discussion with various opinion makers from all strata of Society of Ramban District.
Various public representatives, religious personalities, Social workers, educationists and journalists availed the opportunity to exchange views on issues related to development in the area and jointly reinforce spirit of communal harmony.
The people of prominence from the region included DDC Members, Market Committee Presidents, Sarpanchs, NGO members and educationists, who participated in the discussion and put forth their opinion during the meeting. Participants of the event included Mrs Renuka Katoch (DDC Ramban), Mr Fayaz Ahmed (DDC Ramsoo B), Dr Manohar Lal (Principle govt degree college), Mr Nazeer Ahmed (Nodal officer to coordinate job opportunities for youth in Ramban Distt), Mr Ravinder Singh (Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Member, Magunala), Mr Dilavar Ali (Sarpanch, Ramban), Mr Ranjay Singh (Vice Principal HSS, Ramban), Mr Fayaz Pathan (Social worker), Mr Fareed (Red cross, NGO), Mr Mushtaq Ahmed (Tableeg-e-Jamaat Coordinator) among many other local members. The initiative would go a long way in strengthening connect between Indian Army and Awaam.
