IOC donates Ambulance to District Administration Shopian

Shopian, March 15: The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) today donated one ambulance to the District Administration Shopian to transport COVID-19 patients to the hospitals.

The District Magistrate (DM) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya; Additional District Magistrate, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani; Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Shahbaz Ahmed Bodha and other officers were present on this occasion.

The IOC donated the ambulance to the District Administration Shopian under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative with a procurement cost of Rs.17 lakh.

On the occasion, DM thanked the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. for donating the ambulance and said that the ambulance was donated to strengthen the hands of the District Administration to meet the challenges posed by the pandemic.

The ambulance is equipped with a basic life support system and Oxygen delivery system to facilitate the general masses of the district in case of any emergency.

IOC Ltd. Officers and other officers were also present at the event.
