Doda, February 26: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today inspected several educational institutions ahead of their re-opening and reviewed the arrangements put in place by the education department for offline classes after Covid-19 lockdown and winter vacations.

During the inspection, the DC inspected Middle School Nagri and UPS Akramabad and took stock of the arrangements including  sanitization of classrooms, availability of water and power supply for smooth and hassle free conduct of classroom activities in the coming days.

Showing strong concern over the absence of Headmaster at Middle School Nagri, the DC sought explanation from the concerned, while at UPS Akramabad he sought details about the Mid Day Meal management in the institution and got a dissatisfied response from the staff members.  The DC directed the Tehsildar Doda to initiate enquiry into the matter and submit the report to his office.

For leaving the Station without consent, the Deputy Commissioner sought explanation from the Chief Education Officer.
