Ramban, February 25: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam on Friday handed over a number of rescue equipments and material to Civil QRT Banihal under Red Cross here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that Civil QRT Banihal is rendering yeoman’s services to the society by saving the life of accident victims in the district besides serving the people in times of crisis.
The rescue material included folding stretchers, shoes, hand gloves, search lights and ropes in adequate quantity which would help the volunteers in successful rescue operations. The DC assured every possible help to Civil QRT Banihal from district administration in future.
