Jammu Feb 23:- Taking forward the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sh Narendra Modi’s Flagship scheme “start-up India, Stand-up-India” Chander Mohan Gupta mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation in presence of Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor today inaugurated M/s Jitendra Electric vehicle showroom at main chowk Panjthirti near Police station.
Sh Narinder Singh Jamwal Ex- mayor JMC, Sh Vijay Pahalwan I/c Professional cell /BJP co-convener U.T of J&K, Sh Satrughan Jamwal Prop. Of M/s Jitendra Electric vehicle showroom, Sh Sham Lal jamwal, Sh Deepak Raina Retired DSP, Sh Ashok kumar & other prominent inhabitants of Panjthirti & its adjoining localities were accompanied the mayor during the inauguration function.
Speaking on the occasion, mayor told that the JMC has already taken up Major initiatives in making Jammu city, neat, clean, green & environment free by starting successfully door to door lifting of garbage from residential & commercial areas by introducing sufficient number of vehicles & autos in every ward of the city and then segregating the dry/wet waste at Solid waste management plant near Kot Bhalwal, Bandu rakh near Kunjwani Jammu.
He further added that “Under Jammu smart city project” many more projects have either been competed or under progress for the beautification of Jammu. He also praised Sh Satrughan Jamwal owner for opening such unique type of electric vehicle show room in Jammu city and appealed to the general public to take full benefits of it.
The prop. also spoke on the occasion & threw light on the main features of their show room and told that there are two models of electric Scooty of which especially school going children requires no licence and have three years guarantee and will run without petrol . He also threw light on the other models of electric scooty being sold in the show room and make it sure that they will try their best to provide best possible and quality service to their customers.
