Kargil, February 23, 2022: A 4-day refresher course for para veterinarians of Sheep Husbandry Department ( SHD) Kargil concluded today at Sheep Husbandry Office, Kargil.

Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), Kargil, Dr Muhammad Ismail was present as chief guest while District Sheep Husbandry Officer, (DSHO) Kargil, Dr Iftikhar Hussain was present as the guest of honor.

Chief Coordinator of the program, Dr Zakir Hussain, Dr Fida Hussain, and Dr Naseer Hussain besides field staff of the department were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Dr Iftikhar expressed gratitude to the trainers and field staff for successfully conducting the training.

He said that the department has organized a refresher course for para veterinarians is aimed to aware people of advancements in technology, new medicines, and other practices.

Dr Iftikhar informed people that the UT administration has adopted a rationalization program and both the Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department have come together to treat the animals. He also informed the public that the treatment of animals should be done in both centers.

Chief Coordinator of the program, Dr Zakir Hussain expressed gratitude to the trainers and participating field staff for successfully conducting the training. He told field staff to provide treatment of different kinds of animals in both the animal and sheep husbandry centers.

He suggested that both the departments should organize a common workshop and training for the field staff to inform and educate them about the treatment of animals.
