TLSC Kangan observes ‘Social Justice Day’

Ganderbal, February 21: The Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Kangan in collaboration with Government Boys Higher Secondary School Hariganwan today organized an awareness programme on Social Justice Day at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Hariganwan, here.

Kartar Singh (Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan), Principal Government Higher Secondary School Hariganwan, Senior Prosecuting Officer Mir Farooq Ahmad, Incharge Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan, P A Hakeem, PLVS of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Kangan, other Staff members from Government Higher Secondary Schools Hariganwan Kangan and students of the institution participated in the said awareness programme.

A number of students of the institution participated in the debate competition.

The Chairman TLSC Kangan, Senior prosecuting officer of Munsiff Court Kangan Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Hariganwan Kangan and lecturer of the said Institution apprised the gathering about the importance of social justice in society and shared their valuable views with students during their speech.

A prize distribution ceremony was also held at the end of the programme and prizes were distributed among the position holders. Certificates were also distributed among the students who participated in the debate competition.

The school administration was highly impressed with the organization of the programme and urged Chairman TLSC Kangan to organize more such programmes in future in the said institution so that students can gain much needed experience and exposure through such awareness programmes.
