Jammu Feb 17 :- Jammu and Kashmir BJP, Incharge Ayushman Bharat Kunti Jasrotia, distributed Ayushman Health Cards among beneficiaries in a programme held in a Glass Industry at Sarwal.
Kunti Jasrotia was accompanied by Ayushman Bharat Jammu Incharge Robin Karwal and other local BJP leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Kunti Jasrotia said that these cards have been issued under a scheme launched by the Union government headed by PM Narendra Modi for people across the nation especially for the poor and needy. She said that Jammu and Kashmir has the distinction of being first in India to announce universal health care for all residents. The world’s largest health insurance and assurance scheme, which is fully financed by the Government, provides a cover of Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization across public and private empanelled hospitals in India, she said.
Kunti Jasrotia further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government has taken care of every needy person with best possible public welfare policies and under the said scheme, poor and marginalized will be benefitted most. She exhorted the people to take maximum benefit from several welfare schemes launched by the Centre.
