Jammu Feb 16 :-  Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement led a strong protest along with the traders, prominent citizens, resident of west assembly against the J&K Govt decision to install smart meters & privatization of the Pdd department in jammu Kashmir regions,

Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple warned that they will start mass agitation against the  decision as stated by the LG Manoj Sinha to install the smart meters in Jammu Kashmir.

“The decision has already been taken to taken that 15000 smart meters  will be installed every month in Jammu”,he said.

Dimple alleged after the installation of the smart meters the domestic power per unit will charge 5/- rs and commercial will be Rs 8/- per unit

“These projects are producing so much power electricity that after selling electricity to the whole India. We can give free electricity to the people of Jammu Kashmir”,dimple added.

He alleged after the abrogation of article 370, common man in JK is burdened with a heavy load of toll plazas, tariffs, taxes, fines, burdens on traders, industries, farmers, common.

Dimple urged LG to take Slal and uri power projects back from the center.
