Kupwara, February 15: The Vice Chairman, District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting of Booth Level Officials (BLOs) of Lolab sub division to review the progress of enrollment of 18 year and above age people for electoral process.

On the occasion, the VC DDC stressed upon the BLOs to ensure enrollment of all eligible beneficiaries in their respective jurisdictions for getting their voter ID card so that they are able to exercise their right of voting.

Meanwhile, various BLOs put forth various demands before the Vice Chairman including low honorarium rate for their assigned job.

The VC assured them that he will raise their concern with the higher ups for getting the issue resolved.

Tehsildar Lalpora, Naib Tehsildars, BLOs and other concerned attended the meeting.
