Kulgam, February 15: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to take stock of arrangements and preparedness for reopening of schools for offline classes.

During the meeting, the DC instructed the concerned to ensure due adherence to SOPs while holding offline classes following reopening of schools. He also stressed them to take all precautionary steps and ensure screening on entry of schools and colleges.

The authorities were also asked to seek vaccination certificates of students above the age of 15 years.

Instructions were also issued to school management and enforcement departments to prevent unnecessary gathering of students outside the schools. Similarly, the concerned authorities from school and colleges were asked to make seating arrangements in classrooms to maintain physical distance among the students.

Officers present in the meeting included ADC, Principals from colleges, CMO, CEO, ZEOs and other concerned officers.
